S.O.S (System of Support) Program

Our S.O.S program is designed to support families with children that are enduring hardships. These hardships may consist of problems with at-risk children, needing supplies for schools, assistance with breakfast or lunches during the summer, transportation etc. Our program focuses on families in low-economic communities that may not meet criteria for assistance with some of the resources that provided by the county. We provide the following for families but not limited to:

  • Workshops: (signs of at-risk behaviors and suicidal ideation)

  • Seminars: (conflict resolution, communication skills and self-esteem builders)

  • Resources for housing needs

  • Resources for breakfast and lunches for kids

  • Provide bus passes to assist in going to work

  • Counseling for families (group and individual)

  • Parenting Skills

Advocacy

The S.T.U.D.I.O advocates on the local, state, and national levels for mental health services, children’s, and human rights. We collaborate with other organizations and bring awareness to the needs of the people.
